Hope you’re enjoying the beautiful fall weather. The only problem with fall is that it lasts so short and the cold sets in all too quickly. Thankfully, there’s Borrels and boerenkool to keep us all warm!
We’re super excited to be doing our next fall event at our beloved local bar, Hitch. On Sunday, Nov. 6, Hitch located at 1216 Queen Street East, just west of Leslie opens its doors early at 3 p.m. for another cozy afternoon of drinks and Dutch eats. It’s always a gezellig time there, so please join us!
Also, every Sunday night, Hitch also screens movies as part of its excellent Video Club. Last March we screened three of Dutch director Paul Verhoeven’s Hollywood efforts and we thought this would be a good opportunity to screen the rest. So stick around after Borrel finishes at 8 p.m. for screenings of “Total Recall,” “Hollow Man” and “Basic Instinct!”
