The world cup cricket celebrity of India, Yuvraj Singh declared Thursday morning in a cheerful mood saying the tumor is “almost out of my system” after the initial treatment.

The minor lung tumor for which his treatment is taking place in the United States has completed its first phase and kicked out most of the disease. He is admitted in the Boston Institute of Cancer Research and gave his fans all over the globe the good news via his twitter account.

He said, “Got very good news from Dr. Lawrence today! The tumor is almost way out of the system after reading my today’s scan! Second cycle has started”.

Yuvraj went to the United States the previous month for his treatment and is expected to be done with it by March and be fit, healthy, and back to home country soon. He has gone bald during the course of treatment. Once his treatment at the Boston Institute of Cancer Research ends, he will be sent for rehabilitation for the month of April.

Lance Armstrong, US cyclist who undertook cancer treatment, wished Yuvraj a speedy recovery and said, “We say it all the time, and truly believe in it: Knowledge is power, Unity is strength, and Attitude is everything. Please know that we are here to help you and your family in any way possible. Go Yuvi!!”
