With downtown L.A. as a scenic backdrop, you and your family can lay out a picnic blanket in the beautiful outdoor amphitheater, break open the snacks, and settle in for the American premiere of Snow White The Musical. Based on the classic Grimm’s fairytale, this musical version gets a modern twist that’s fun for adults and kids alike. The show features professionally designed puppets, with costumes by designers Takashi Morimoto — named one of 2011’s Top 10 Designers in L.A. and the man behind the wardrobe in Pan Am‘s pilot episode — and Anna Lloyd-Jones. Originally performed in Iceland in 2011, writer and director Anna Bergljót Thorarensen has flown in to direct this production. Bring your camera and stay after the show for a meet and greet with the characters.
