USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Akshay all set to join Khans after Rowdy Rathore The 100 crore saga is all set to be resumed, what with Rowdy Rathore releasing next weekend. All eyes are on whether Akshay Kumar would manage two 100 crore successes in a row, especially after Housefull 2 doing exceedingly well.

"Before him, each of the superstars has enjoyed his immediate next film to be a super-success after first tasting a 100 crore runner", states an observer, "Aamir Khan gave 3 Idiots after Ghajini. Salman Khan made it three in a row with Dabangg, Ready and Bodyguard. Later Shah Rukh Khan repeated the feat as well with Ra. One and Don 2. All these films crossed the 100 crore mark. Now Akshay will definitely repeat the feat as Rowdy Rathore is carrying terrific reports."

Some are also of the belief that 100 crores would be achieved in 10 days (i.e. by end of second weekend) flat though the prediction seems rather too far fetched.

"In theory that seems possible since Bodyguard managed it in 9 days and that too a year back. However, it had the benefit of Eid holiday. Rowdy Rathore is a non-holiday release and though 100 crores in collections is a given, it could well be inside a fortnight, if not 10 days", he continues.

Whatever be the outcome, for Akshay a couple of back to back successes like these would be a shot in the arm since he was suffering from back to back under performers not too long ago. Now with a potential superhit in the making, he could well be ensuring another success under the belt for his co-star Sonakshi Sinha as well who would be seen on the silver screen year and a half after Dabangg.
