He may be the king of the silver screen but she sure is the queen of the ring. We are talking about none other than Salman Khan and India's gleaming hope for the Olympics gold, boxer Mary Kom.
Kom, who is currently representing India at the Olympics, is a five-time World Boxing champion and the only woman boxer to have won a medal in each one of the six world championships. She is the only Indian woman boxer to have qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics, competing in the 51 kg category, ranked world no. 4. We came across this picture where Mary Kom met Salman on the sets of Bodyguard.
With Salman's Ek Tha Tiger gearing up to punch out the opposition in theatres this Eid, we hope Mary shares the same luck in the ring. Now that she has already 'won' a bronze, knowing that the fighter that she is a la Salman, we are sure that gold is just a stone's throw distance away for her!
