USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Jaspal Bhatti was undoubtedly one of the most famous and talented comedy actors in the country. And this morning, this great comedian met with a road accident in Punjab's Nakodar town (40 km from Jalandhar), and made his way to the heavens.
News reports have it that his car crashed into a tree along the highway while he was on his way to Jalandhar for promoting his upcoming film Power Cut, which he had produced and directed and was due for release this Friday. The film was to launch Jasraj, his son. Post the accident; he was rushed to a hospital in Jalandhar where doctors declared him dead. Among the injured were his son and the film's heroine Surili Gautam.
Jaspal Bhatti, who made TV shows like Ulta-Pulta, Flop Show, and a film called Mahaul Theek Hai, will be cremated later this evening.
Bollywood Hungama prays that the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
