After suffering a narrow nine-run defeat in the opening ODI match, India will now struggle to work on weaknesses as they take on England in the second ODI on Tuesday to level the series.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni team looks like under an unending pressure after their 1-2 series loss in the three-match ODI series against Pakistan, as they are now again started with a loss against the English team. It’s time for them to get serious and composed to make a comeback towards victory. With the successive failure of top order batsmen, the team management would be thinking to bring in Cheteswar Pujara though Dhoni is not in favor of changing the team composition as yet. The likely Indian squad will include: MS Dhoni (Captain), Gautam Gambhir, Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Amit Mishra, Ishant Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ashok Dinda, Shami Ahmed.
Following their historic 2-1 victory over India in the Test series, the English batsmen have entered the series with good preparations to give home team some tough time. They would be looking to grab another victory to get more near to the series win with 2-0. English bowlers never lost hope in difficult situations and that made James Tredwell deceived the Indian batsmen with his off-spin attack and got 4 for 44 to set the foundation for England`s nine-run victory last Friday. The pace trio of Jade Dernbach, Tim Bresnan and Steven Finn also contributed to share five wickets among them in the first ODI. The batting department also did their job to post a huge 325 during last match. The probable English lineup will include: Alastair Cook, Joe Root, Ian Bell, Tim Bresnan, Danny Briggs, Joseph Buttler, Jade Dernbach, Steven Finn, Craig Kieswetter(wk), Stuart Meakar, Eoin Morgan, Samit Patel, Kevin Petersen, James Tredwell, Chris Woakes.
