Windsor police arrested Rockland Street resident in sexual assault investigation

On Monday March 18, 2013 at approximately 1:50 a.m. Windsor  Police were dispatched to Metropolitan Hospital for a report of a sexual assault.  Officers attended the hospital and spoke with a 17 year old female who indicated that she was sexually assaulted.  The victim indicates that she was at a downtown night club and that the assault occurred in the woman’s rest room.  The victim provided police with the name of the accused.  The location of the assault has been secured by police for expert forensic examination.  At approximately 3:55 a.m. Windsor Police attended an address in the 11000 block of Rockland Street.  An 18 year old resident was arrested without incident for sexual assault.  He is expected to appear in court later this afternoon.
