On Wednesday, May 8, 2013, detectives from the Windsor Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the City of Windsor in relation to a three week investigation involving child sexual abuse material.
As a result of this search warrant being executed, a laptop computer and a quantity of digital storage devices were seized.
Kyle Temblayr, 26 years, is charged with Possession of Child Pornography, Accessing Child Pornography, and Make Available Child Pornography.
The sexual exploitation of children on the internet continues to pose significant risk to Ontario children, and children worldwide.
Police officers investigating these crimes report that the children being targeted in these types of crimes are getting younger and younger and the sexual abuse of these children is becoming more violent. Most victims of this child sexual abuse remain unidentified.
Police remind the public to continue to report cases of suspected child abuse to police. A report may result in the rescue of a victim.
