The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance to locate a woman missing since August 2012.
Sara Coates, 32, was last seen in the Stanley Park area around Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012.
Coates is described Caucasian, 5’2” tall, 110 lbs. with long, red hair and blue eyes. She was also known by the nicknames “Meka” or “Meko” and has a small, homemade tattoo of a heart on her left knuckle.
Investigators have been able to determine that Coates travelled in and around Calgary before going missing. She was known to camp in her blue Chevrolet Astro minivan in the Foothills Industrial area. Coates was travelling with three cats and one dog. The van has a cream-coloured passenger door and the window is missing from the rear passenger door.
