USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…A few years back, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, who is one of the most respectable names in the movie business today, drew a lot of flak for his film Aks that starred Amitabh Bachchan, Raveena Tandon and others.
Even though the film is history now, the news is that Mehra now wants to re-edit the film for the DVD version of the same. Talking about this, he says that post the film's theatrical release, one cannot go back to the shooting floor, but he can edit the film crisply and make the story telling more effective. He also added that the concept of re-editing offers the director a second chance to make the film more effective.
In fact post the release of his film Delhi 6, he re-shot it and changed the film's ending to what was planned originally.
