Artists of the Woodlawn Pottery Studio Annual Show & Sale 2013 Coming up at the end of November, the artists of the Woodlawn Pottery Studio are having their annual show and sale at the Gladstone Hotel. The Woodlawn Pottery Studio is an intergenerational womens cooperative in Toronto. The cooperative has 18 members, both professional and amateur, who share the tasks of running the studio, and also share their knowledge and expertise with one another. This years show and sale will feature a wide range of functional and decorative ceramic work, including mugs, bowls, plates, serving dishes, vases, flowerpots, figurative sculptures, and more. All of the work is handmade with lots of love. Prices start at around $10, so there will be gifts for every budget! A portion of the sales will be donated to The Stop Community Food Centre, to support their amazing food security programs. The opening is on Friday, November 29th from 5pm 9pm, and the artists will be happy to talk about the studio and their work. Come by and say hello!
