For your holiday shopping convenience and conscience, Oxfam University of Toronto is inviting local, ethical, sustainable businesses and artisans from around Toronto to set up shop for one day right here at U of T! Get your holiday shopping done early and ethically by stopping by between Noon and 5pm, on Novemeber 28th, in Hart House’s beautiful East Common Room, where you will find lots of unique vendors selling a variety of items, from jewellery, to fair-trade crafts, art and decor, to baked goods! Last year was a great success, and we want to make this year an even greater one! Besides supporting local, independent businesses and artists, you’ll also find plenty of opportunities to donate to important causes that are being undertaken by Oxfam right now, through programs such as Oxfam Unwrapped. You can also expect to find friendly faces, a cheery atmosphere and decorations in the face of exam-period despair, and best of all: live music!
