The Office of Divestment is a mini-residency that invites patrons to take part in free ‘covet counseling’ sessions. Drawing on the technique exemplified in the her recent book, A Bunch of Pretty Things I Did Not Buy, artist Sarah Lazarovic will render your objects of desire in watercolour on paper in 10-20 minute sessions. Patrons can describe items they want, or show the artist a picture. The artist will explore why the object being rendered is coveted. The patron may eat cookies.
DATES: Saturday November 22nd and Sunday November 23rd, 10:00-4:00 PM. Room 222.
