Eight of the city’s best and brightest emerging Latina/o playwrights get a chance to showcase their talents at the inaugural Playwrights’ Nest Festival. Set over the course of three days at Los Angeles Theatre Center in Downtown L.A., the fest features directed readings of works-in-progress from a diverse array of Latina/o writers, each showcasing their own personal passion projects developed under the auspices of Latino Theater Alliance/LA’s Writers Circle. Crafted over the course of seven months, these new works range from multimedia solo puppetry to absurdist tragicomedy to family drama and beyond.
