She may have the moniker “The Mommy Comic,” but Debi Gutierrez’s stand-up routine goes far beyond diapers and nap times. Her material also dives hilariously into the world of relationships, ethnicity, femininity and much more. The former English teacher has hosted A Place of Our Own on KCET and appeared on shows such as The Chew and Comics Unleashed. She’s been seen on ABC, HBO, Showtime and Lifetime, and headlined clubs across the country during her comedic career. Gutierrez headlines a night of laughs at Flappers Comedy Club Burbank that also features Deven Green, James P. Connolly and host Joel Bryant.
