The Los Angeles Children’s Theater uses the classic fairytale Three Bully Goats Gruff to teach young audiences about peaceful ways of dealing with bullying. In this new puppet-filled spin on the 19th century tale, little Billy the Goat is the troublesome character everyone has to watch out for — the kid is bullying everyone in sight, including the two goats siblings and the toll trolls who work on that well-known bridge. As if paying a toll to get across the bridge wasn’t bad enough, now anyone who dares to cross over the bridge gets knocked off by Billy. A host of silly new characters join in to help solve the dilemma of Billy the Bully. You’ll see everyone from a politician to a prima ballerina get in on the action. The production’s as rollicking as it is enriching, teaching kids a valuable moral lesson while also tickling their funny bones. The Little Theater LA hosts the non-stop, heartfelt felted action.
