Art Battle at The Royal Winter Fair!
Saddle up and join us for a very special night of live competitive painting at The Royal Winter Fair on Tuesday November 10th. 12 painters will create the best work they can in 20 minutes and the audience will decide who deserves to be the Champ. Will there be cows? yes. Horses? yes. Maybe not in the painting area but close by for sure.
Admission is included with your ticket to the Royal! You can get tickets now, at Royalfair.org – Use the PROMO CODE ARTBROYAL15 and get an extra $5 off advance tickets for entry after 4pm on Tuesday the 10th.
The Royal is the largest combined indoor agricultural fair and international equestrian competition in the world. WHAT IS ART BATTLE?
Art Battle is live competitive painting. Painters create the best work they can in 20 minutes. As they work, patrons move around the easels, closely watching the creative process. The medium is acrylic paint and the tools allowed are brushes, palette knives or any non-mechanical implements. At the end of the round, the audience votes democratically for their favourite painting and bids in silent auction to take the work home.
