Toronto-based indie artists Jessica Speziale, Brooklyn Doran, and Iliya Vee (of the Dreadful Starlings) are crossing Southern Ontario together and bringing a collaborative musical showcase.
The Rainboots and RocknRoll Tour kicks off April 1st at the Cameron House in Toronto and takes the trio on a 10-day adventure from St. Catharines to Montreal. They will be joined by Jacquelyn Tober and The Rose County Ramblers for the Toronto leg of the tour at The Cameron House Backroom.
The tour is three people, three acts, and one car. “We’re playing in each other’s’ bands!” Says an energized Speziale. In the world of indie music, the sharing economy is alive and a necessity. Sharing resources and band members, the artists will be bringing their own flavours to each act during the show.
Doran, Speziale, and Vee were all part of a successful Christmas album and concert raising $10,000 for the Humber River Hospital Foundation with Indigal, an indie music collective from Toronto.
