Speculations about Kareena Kapoor Khan playing a doctor in Udta Punjab had been doing the rounds for a couple of months and now during the promotions of Ki & Ka, she too revealed about her role in this upcoming release. Here's a glimpse of Kareena as the doctor.
While Kareena has played doctor in a couple of films like Kyon Ki, Kambakkht Ishq, 3 Idiots the actress, this time around, will play a different one comparatively. Udta Punjab that deals with drug mafia will have this doctor who has led a sheltered life, entering this murky world to deal with the drug menace. Accompanying her would be the tough cop played by Diljit Dosanjh.
Also starring Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Udta Punjab is directed by Abhishek Chaubey and it is slated to release on June 17.
