Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Recently we reported that Vidya Balan had taken ill to dengue after her return from US because of which the actress' work commitments have been delayed. Now we hear that the actress' neighbor and co-actor Shahid Kapoor has been booked for negligence as his house has been found as the prime breeding ground for dengue mosquitos.
Reportedly, after Vidya Balan was admitted at the Hinduja hospital the authorities arrived at her residence to inspect for aedis aegypti larvae and it wasn't found in her apartment but was apparently found in another resident's apartment in the same building. While their search continued, they faced a small setback when they were denied access to Shahid's apartment. However, followed by the intervening of policemen, the officials also conducted a search in the actor's apartment and found the accumulation of the same in the swimming pool. As of now, we hear that Shahid Kapoor has been booked under section 381B [Prohibition of mosquito breeding in collection of water on any land] and the fine for the same could be upto Rs. 10,000. It has been learnt that the matter will be heard by the Metropolitan Magistrate.
Reacting to the same, the spokesperson of the actor added that Shahid Kapoor is thankful for the inspection since he wasn't aware of the breeding grounds. The actor recently turned father to an adorable baby girl and hence he was extremely concerned about the infant. Apparently the proximity of the house to the beach and the monsoons are said to be the reasons for the breeding grounds.
