Amitabh Bachchan, who was admitted at the Seven Hills hospital for abdominal surgery, was discharged at around 9.30 p.m. on Thursday night.
An elated Bachchan tweeted, "Ahhh ! The beauty of taking a shower without the tapes and wires and bandages .. its like being reborn .. HOME !! A joy to be back in familiar surroundings .. thank you all for your blessings and prayers .. I made it again !!"
Big B was accompanied home by his wife Jaya Bachchan.
