President Barack Obama made a bold move when he embarked on a bus tour amid angry protestors and tension in the streets. He took the three day bus tour on Monday to tell off the Republicans who played their part in blocking his jobs bill proposal last week and vowed to get it passed even if it happened in bits and pieces.

He said “We’re going to break up my jobs bill; maybe they just couldn’t understand the whole thing all at once so we’re going to break it up into bite-sized pieces so they can take a thoughtful approach to this legislation.”

With “Day of Rage” protests over the weekend concluded in sometimes aggressive protests and many of arrests, president Obama’s tour was intended to tap into the anger of Americans disgruntled with big Wall Street bailouts and a jobless recovery to push Congress to pass the $447 billion American Jobs Act.

The republicans have gone on record to say that they are ready to agree with the proposal but they will only vote on a few of the president’s ideas. They have also provided their own substitute solutions. According to them the proposal presented by the president will do no good towards prolong economic growth.

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor said “We saw what happened with the stimulus money. Much of that went to the states. And you know what happened? It sustained some jobs for about a year and then the states were faced with about billions of dollars in debt once that year was over it,”
