The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest made in relation to a sexual assault investigation which started late March, 2012.
It was reported that:
– in 2002, a man befriended a then-13-year-old boy over MSN messenger
– the man met the boy in a park in Toronto
– the man sexually assaulted the boy in his van
– the van was described as a white delivery van with no windows in the back
On Thursday, April 19, 2012, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Vasco Serpa, 52, of Toronto was arrested. He is charged with:
1) Sexual interference
2) Invitation to sexual touching
3) Sexual assault
He is scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West, in courtroom 206, on Thursday, April 19, 2012, at 2 p.m.
Police believe there may be other victims.
I’m pretty sure this guy was my Boy Scout leader at St Mary of the Angels Church and assaulted my friend onna field trip. Positive this is the same guy.
