WORKMAN ARTS PRESENTS BEING SCENE – 12th ANNUAL JURIED ART EXHIBITION UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO, HART HOUSE Celebrating Workman Arts 25th Anniversary June 1 July 29, 2012 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. daily FREE ADMISSION The 12th annual juried art exhibition Being Scene, produced by Workman Arts for the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, launches May 30th with a grand opening reception at The University of Toronto’s Hart House. The six-month show takes place over three downtown venues and features artists who have lived experience with mental illness and addiction. Workman Arts curated the show from over 320 submissions and results in a collection of 56 works by 37 artists representing the artistry of emerging and intermediate artists a rich and diverse forum of expression that will impress art connoisseurs, enthusiasts and the general public alike.
