RCMP divers along with members from the Sackville Fire Department are expected to search a section of the Tantramar River today for clues in connection to the disappearance of 20-year-old Christopher Metallic. While it is unknown if the missing man may have ended up in the river, footwear that was worn by him when he went missing on November 25 was located in the area. A search of the river has been difficult to conduct due to ice and freezing temperatures and heavy equipment was brought in over the weekend to assist with breaking up the ice. Members from the Moncton Fire Department and Tri-County Ground Search and Rescue were also involved on the weekend.

Christopher Metallic was last seen wearing a bright blue zip up hoodie, jeans and flip flops. He is described as a 20 year old Aboriginal male, 6’1 tall, 180 lbs dark brown hair and brown eyes.
