The veteran actor Dilip Kumar was recently hospitalised with health complications and has been diagnosed with bilateral pleural effusion. As per reports, he is currently on oxygen support in the ICU ward. However, his condition is stable. The actor was admitted to Hinduja Hospital in Khar, Mumbai on 6th June as he felt breathlessness.

On 7th June, Dharmendra took to Twitter and shared a throwback picture that featured him with Dilip Kumar, and Saira Banu. He urged fans to pray for speedy recovery for the actor. He wrote, "Dosto, Dalip Sahab ek nek rooh insaan…ek azeem fankaar ke liye aap ki rooh se uthi duaen zaroor bar aayengi ji jaan se Shukriya Aap sab ka.”

On Sunday, Dharmendra shared a rare grayscale photo with Dilip Kumar of their young '90s, while hugging each other. Dharmendra wrote a priceless note that read "Maalik se Dua keejiye mere pyaare bhai …hamare Yusuf Sahib jald sehat yaab ho jaayen," he wrote alongside the picture.

Dilip Kumar made acting debut with Jwar Bhata in 1944, and has appeared in several iconic films in his career spanning over five decades, including Kohinoor, Mughal-e-Azam, Devdas, Naya Daur, Ram Aur Shyam.
