Kangana Ranaut was missing for action from the giant screen for the most part of this past year. However, this season seems to be hers. The feisty actress has as much as six films releasing in 2013. In addition to the number of films, what’s impressive is the fact that she will be viewed in a variety of roles. Inside a tete-a-tete, the actress bares her heart about why she needs help, her relationship together with her exes, and the biggest mistake of her lifetime.

There’s Rajjo, where I play a prostitute, then in Queen, I’m a girl who’s alone on her behalf honeymoon! There’s Revolver Rani, Krishh 3, Shootout At Wadala and that i Love NY.

So how exactly does it feel to become finally accepted and brought seriously through the industry?
To tell the truth, whatever I’ve been through here leaves scars on my small psyche. Personally i think I need to take assist in order to accept appreciation. Generate an income was treated initially causes it to be difficult for me to deal with appreciation today. Even today I find it simpler to handle rejection and criticism instead of compliments.

Can you explain that?
When I began, I was treated just like a dog. Individuals the industry treated me like I didn’t should be talked to and I was some unwanted object. You’ve been carrying out a workshop for Revolver Rani…
Yes, it’s no easy role to experience. It’s physically challenging because it requires a large amount of stamina and agility in handling the guns. My character includes a completely different body gestures and attitude, and so i have to focus on that. It’s a hard-core action film and that i play a lady in her early thirties who’s harsh, unkempt, rough round the edges, cruel, courageous as well as evil!(Laughs) You are able to say I’m a villain from the film. Similar to the female Gabbar, but doing deeds of Sanjeev Kumar.

You’ll be shown as fat and unappealling within the film?
You won’t see me inside my glamorous best. However i can’t put on weight for that role. On the other hand, it needs me to become at my agile best, considering the chase scenes and all sorts of…Revolver Rani is not a simple part and never many actresses might have agreed to listen to it (cheekily). Definitely not the actresses who’ve designed a career from standing behind the heroes after which taking credit for hit films. For me, I have not been afraid to appear ugly.

Why perhaps you have taken up a lot of hatke roles?
You realize, Dirty Picture was provided to me. And never doing the film continues to be the biggest mistake of my entire life. I don’t wish to repeat that mistake again. I know I’m able to do roles such as these.

Right from Gangster to Fashion to now, the majority of the characters you play really are a little wild and unstable. How’s the real Kangana?
I lead an organised life. Certainly one of my rules isthat nobody tells me how to proceed. I have this in-built rebellious streak. However i want to change that. I wish to stop rebelling when it’s uncalled for.

Most actresses occupy filmmaking when acting offers stop trickling in. You’re directing a movie, at the peak of the career…
There is a phase after i was tired of the kind of films and roles I had been being offered. There is nothing exciting, and that i was taking a look at doing films for any different need, aside from running our kitchen. Direction was on my small mind for quite a while, I had the dates from the actors too and that i decided to make the leap. It was a global project intended for markets there. Though now there’s an industry for films like this here too.

What’s the progress with that film?
Out of the blue I had this barrage of interesting films come my way as an avalanche. I didn’t wish to turn them. So, direction continues to be pushed to 2014 for the time being. Initially, I had been to start my film by March, however I would not happen to be able to act for any year. The coming year too, I’ll have to take a phone call depending on the films at hand.

What’s happening around the personal front? Are you currently in touch with Nicholas?
Nicholas (Nicholas Lafferty) and that i are in constant touch over phone, emails. He’s still my close friend, even though he’s now dating a physician from UK. I have not been friends with any one of my exes… That’s things i told Nicholas too, but that’s what’s different with him. It had been a mature and amicable break-up around the condition that we’ll always be friends (laughs).
