Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 3300 D’Amico about 7:30 p.m. last Friday (March 1).
The victim, Lucinda Dixon, 67, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Gonzales and Senior Police Officer J. Ortiz reported:
The driver of a silver Buick LeSabre was traveling westbound on D’Amico and at a stop sign at the intersection of Rochow. As the driver proceeded through the intersection, Ms. Dixon, who was in the crosswalk, was struck by the vehicle. She died at the scene.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the accident.
No charges have been filed at this time, as the investigation is continuing.
