The DMC DJ Championships is an annual DJ competition hosted by Disco Mix Club (DMC) which crowned its first World Champion (Roger Johnson) in 1985. DMC Canada is the Canadian branch which overseas DMCs Canadian presence. Itll be a night to remember as Canadas best DJs compete for the top National spot and a chance at representing Canada at this years World Championships. The group of competing DJs consists of the defending champion, DJ Vekked, !Kryme Won, DJ Makeway, Cancer The Crab and Slick Rix. There will also be one DJ selected via a wild card process. The evening will also feature showcase performances by an impressive line-up of DJs including a former World Champion. DJ Dopey, DMC World Champion in 2003, will be joined by J-Tec as the Turntable Monkz, DJ Grouch and D-Scratch will come together once again as The TurnStylez followed by a crazy set by the JUNO Award-winning Canadian DMC Champion (2004), DJ Brace. Hachey the MouthPEACE will be coming through for an impressive live beat box performance.
