The VOCA Chorus of Toronto (Jenny Crober, artistic director; Elizabeth Acker, accompanist) invites you to join us for our Songs of Joy & Peace concert. The first of half of the program will feature J.S. Bach’s extraordinary Magnificat, with the Talisker Players Orchestra and a superb cast of soloists: Jennie Such, soprano;Claire de Svign, soprano; Marion Newman, mezzo-soprano; Andrew Haji, tenor; and Alexander Dobson, baritone. The second half of the concert will feature a wonderfully eclectic mix of Medieval, jazz,blues, contemporary and gospel selections, accompanied by several instrumentalists from the first half of our performance. There will also be a carol sing, raffle and holiday bake sale that evening. Tickets: $25 Regular; $20 Seniors; $10 Students
