Soulshine, the first ever 30-city music and yoga tour, stars indie artists/social activists Michael Franti & Spearhead, SOJA, Brett Dennen and Trevor Hall, who’ll be down-dogging it alongside fans at a mass afternoon yoga practice led by some of today’s top teachers, including Canada’s Ryan Leier. The daytime activities continue with an acoustic jam featuring Franti and friends, before night falls and the full-blown concert takes the stage, headlined by Franti & Spearhead, a band that blends hip hop with funk, reggae, jazz, folk and rock. Also on the bill are reggae specialists SOJA, folk-pop singer-songwriter Brett Dennen and spiritually-inspired roots rocker Trevor Hall. Nestled in the urban wilds of Griffith Park, The Greek provides the ideal outdoor setting for this one-of-a-kind event.
