London Corrections Officer charged with drug trafficking

USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…On Saturday, February 14, 2015, police were called to the Elgin Middlesex Detention Centre, located at 711 Exeter Road, in relation to an investigation involving a Corrections Officer providing drugs to an inmate.

As a result of their investigation, on Thursday, February 19, 2015, police arrested Corrections Officer, Tanya Zavitz (36) of London, and charged her with three counts of trafficking a controlled substance contrary to section 5(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Seized drugs:
– 17 grams of marihuana bud, value $170.
– 22 grams of marihuana resin, value $330.
– 1 gram of hash, value $15.

Tanya Zavitz has been released from custody with a court date of April 3, 2015.
