Saban Theatre (Beverly Hills, CA)

Guitarist Robin Trower

British-born guitarist Robin Trower took the galactic blues of Jimi Hendrix and gave it meat, throaty-treble and distortion. Starting out as a member of Procol Harum, he went on to a successful solo career and playing with his own power trio. He recorded five gold albums in the 1970s and 1974’s legendary Bridge of Sighs reached the Top 10 on the US charts. Though it’s been 40 since his mind-blowing albums were released, Trower continues to record and perform at the top of his game. In addition to his prowess as a guitarist, Trower is also a lyricist and a songwriter. Hits include “Bridge Of Sighs,” “Too Rolling Stoned,” “Day Of The Eagle,” “Little Bit of Sympathy,” “Messin’ The Blues,” and more. Opening set by Johnny Oskam.
