The winner of the 2015 bpNichol Chapbook Award will also be announced during the Market, at 2:00pm. This award goes to the author of the best poetry chapbook published in Canada in the previous year. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the prize, and the second year in a row that the winer will receive an impressive $4,000 purse, making it the richest annual literary award for a poetry chapbook – a collection of no more than 48 pages, usually hand-stitched. This is one of the only awards recognizing poets and presses who make the artistic choice to publish in chapbook form.
