USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…With the current trend of several sequels being made, yet another film that joins the list is the rib tickling Punjabi flavoured comedy film Fukrey, produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. Ritesh Sidhwani has finally announced that they are currently planning the second installment of the film along with the leading cast.
Ritesh Sidhwani recently mentioned that they will be retaining the core cast of Fukrey which include Hunny, Choocha, Zafar, Lali and Bholi Punjaban played by Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Ali Fazal, Manjot Singh and Richa Chadda respectively. While he added that they will be taking the story of Fukrey 2 forward, beyond the college campus, the producer maintained that he wants everything else to be the same including the backdrop of the North Indian setting. He also stated that he already discussed the same with director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba who is currently scripting the second installment of Fukrey.
From what we hear, Fukrey sequel is slated to go on floor in August in Delhi.
