To get more help for the drought victims, Nana Patekar's Naam Foundation came up with a good strategy to raise funds. The fundraising campaign named #IcareISupport was organised on Twitter to raise funds but in interesting way. The campaign saw more than 20,000 unique tweets that managed to raise several lakhs of rupees.
Nana Patekar's Naam Foundation collaborated with company CricHQ that brought the attention of many Indian and international cricketers as well. The campaign raised more funds when New Zealand cricketer Scott Styris supported after he urged his fans to support the cause. Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin and former New Zealand cricket team captain Stephen Fleming also tweeted about the campaign.
