During an interview with Conrad Black, belittled Toronto Mayor Rob Ford alleged that he would be willing to submit to a drug test. In the interview, which is scheduled to air on Monday at 9 p.m. ET., Ford claims that “if they want me to do a drug test, a urine test, I’ll do one right now,” adding that “if there’s any drugs in my system, any alcohol in my system. I have no problem doing that test.” Responding to which, Black smilingly replied “Rob, there’s absolutely no need to do a urine test right now.”

These clips have been revealed in promotional videos posted on the website of Vision TV, while the full interview is scheduled to air Monday. In recent past, Ford has boldly admitted to have had smoked crack cocaine, confronted innumerable allegations of excessive alcohol use and suffered from city council taking away his mayoral powers.

Another video editorial of Conrad Black posted on VisionTV’s website shows him saying that the way media has been “piling on” against Ford is “excessive.” Black points out that “he was elected mayor of Toronto and those who do not like his style will be free to vote against him if he runs again.” He added that “if there is sufficient evidence to charge him with crimes, due process should be followed, but he should be accorded a full presumption of innocence unless he is justly convicted. Beyond that, his accusers should put up or shut up.”
