Hamilton man Joseph Scott Lewis charged with child pornography related offences

The Hamilton Police Service (HPS) has arrested and charged a Hamilton man with Possession of Child Pornography after he returned from a trip abroad with images of child pornography. 

On November 4th, 2012, at approximately 4:00 p.m., the Hamilton Police Service was contacted by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).   CBSA officers arrested a passenger after locating child pornography images during an inspection at the Hamilton International Airport.  The HPS Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit is continuing the investigation with a detailed forensic examination of the devices seized from the accused.

Charged:    Joseph Scott Lewis, 55 yrs. of Hamilton
Charges:    Importing Child Pornography
                     Possession of Child Pornography

 A Bail Hearing is scheduled for November 5th, 2012.
