It will be a a clash of equally strengthened teams when mighty Chennai Super Kings meet the dangerous Mumbai Indians in the first playoff match of the Pepsi Indian Premier League in Delhi on Tuesday.

The group stage has just ended and now the Indian Premier League moves onto the playoff stage for the first qualifying final between the sides that successfully retained the top two positions – Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. Chennai topped the points table on the basis of their Net Run Rate. Michael Hussey is going to be key factor for Chennai as he is the leading run scorer and is only 62 runs behind Bangalore’s Chris Gayle for the Orange Cap. The likely CSK lineup will include: 1. Murali Vijay, 2. Michael Hussey, 3. Suresh Raina, 4. Dwayne Bravo, 5. Subramaniam Badrinanth, 6. MS Dhoni (capt), 7. Ravindra Jadeja, 8. Jason Holder/Chris Morris/Dirk Nannes, 9. Albie Morkel, 10. Ravi Ashwin, 11. Mohit Sharma.

Mumbai finished 2nd on the table. Mumbai have remained successful against the Chennai on both occasions this season so are they able to repeat the victory for third time in a row. Mitchell Johnson after resting for Mumbai’s thumping loss against the Kings XI, will make a return with a huge task on his hands. Mumbai own one of the best bowling attacks in the competition but Chennai also have one of the best batting orders in the tournament so it will prove to be an interesting contest. The probable MI squad will include: 1. Glenn Maxwell//Dwayne Smith, 2. Sachin Tendulkar/Aditya Tare, 3. Dinesh Karthik (wk), 4. Rohit Sharma, 5. Ambati Rayudu, 6 Kieron Pollard, 7. Mitchell Johnson , 8. Harbhajan Singh, 9. Dhawal Kulkarni/Rishi Dhawan, 10. Lasith Malinga, 11. Pragyan Ojha.
