In a report published by CNN, it was revealed that police has recently relieved four men and four women, who were held captive in a north Houston home, one of whom was possibly captivated for almost up to a decade. The report elucidated that the men were seemingly aged between 50 and 80, whereas the women were suspected to have mental illness.

Police has announced to have arrested a suspect for questioning, though no charges have been laid so far. Police spokesman, Kese Smith, explained that police was addressed to the scene in light of a report alleging that several men are being held against their will. It was explained that the front door of the house was nailed shut, while there was creepy garbage laying everywhere along with a converted garage called a “prison room,” with no beds and chairs. The first respondents allegedly also took some of the eight victims to a nearby hospital. It is still under investigation whether the victimized captives were forced to hand over their veterans’ cheques as CNN reports that police have discovered that the victims were homeless and were lured with promises of beer and cigarettes.

Report of this incident has come almost two months after another report revealed that three women were being held captive at a home in Cleveland, also for almost a decade. The three victims, namely Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight recently published a video on YouTube to thank public for the relief and support.
