Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 3300 Bellfort about noon on July 17.
The male victim, 57, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead on Sunday (July 28). His identitiy is pending notification to family members.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Arnold reported:
The victim was driving a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck eastbound on Bellfort when he left the roadway and struck a tree in the median. He was transported to the hospital where he later died.
No other vehicles or individuals were involved in this incident.
