British electronic-dance band Hot Chip has been going strong for 15 years and now they’re storming across the U.S., the UK and Europe in support of their sixth album, Why Make Sense?, including a stop at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. A follow-up to 2012’s critically successful In Our Heads, the new release also features the use of a printing technique that allows the album cover to come in one of 501 different colors. The album’s first single, “Huarache Lights,” has been well received by both fans and critics alike. Known for their live performances, the five guys who are Hot Chip reinvent their studio compositions for the stage to create what Glide magazine describes as “heavy beat-driven improvisation(s) … that create an atmosphere of excitement, energy and the unexpected.” Electronic-synth artist Com Truise and dance-punkers !!!
