Fans of Japanese culture and all things Harajuku in music, crafts, performance and more come together at the 30th anniversary of Japan Expo L.A. The weekend-long event promises an exciting live kenjutsu stage-combat show, Ikebana flower-arranging demos and a long list of J-pop guest artists, including Solidemo, Cheeky Parade, Jaweye, 564 and others. The theme is O-Mo-Te-Na-Shi, or traditional Japanese hospitality, so you can expect a warm welcome at the L.A. Convention Center, as well as displays on traditional craft skills, technology and more.
