It is alleged that:
– Hydro One Inc. facilities were broken into and a quantity of copper wire and tools were stolen,
– the stolen copper wiring was then sold to a metal recycling company in Hamilton,
– the total loss to Hydro One Networks, in copper and tools over the course of this investigation, is approximately $1 million dollars.
Jason Brillinger, 30, of Dunnville, has been charged with:
1. two counts of Break and Enter with Intent,
2. three counts of Break and Enter Commit,
3. three counts of Theft Over,
4. five counts of Mischief Under,
5. Possession of Property Obtained by Crime,
6. three counts of Possession of Burglars Tools,
7. Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence.
Terry Brillinger, 28, of Dunnville, has been charged with:
1. three counts of Possession of Burglars Tools,
2. two counts of Break and Enter Commit,
3. three counts of Theft Over,
4. five counts of Mischief Under,
5. Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over,
6. Break and Enter with Intent.
Daniel Letchford, 25, of Hamilton, has been charged with:
1. two counts of Possession of Burglars Tools,
2. two counts of Break and Enter Commit,
3. three counts of Theft Over,
4. four counts of Mischief Under,
5. Theft Under.
Stephen Maisonville , 22, of Stoney Creek, has been charged with:
1. two counts of Possession of Burglars Tools,
2. Break and Enter Commit,
3. Theft Over,
4. Mischief Under,
5. Break and Enter with Intent,
6. Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence.
All four accused are scheduled to appear in court at a future date.
