On Saturday, June 18, 2011 and Sunday, June 19, 2011, Luminato will stage the “1000 Tastes of Toronto” event. This event will take place on John Street, between Adelaide Street and Wellington Street. Organizers said the event is expected to attract approximately 30,000 people.
Road closures along John Street, between Adelaide Street and Wellington Street, will start on Saturday, June 18, 2011, at 6 a.m. and end on Sunday, June 19, 2011, at 11:59 p.m.
Mercer Street will be converted into a two-way street for the duration of the event.
Due to street closures, there will be significant traffic slow-downs and congestion. Avoid the area if possible.
The TTC will not incur any service disruptions during these events.
The events will proceed regardless of weather conditions.
