Laxman and Abhinav shine for India in West Indies

On the third day of the Dominica Test Match, India got a strong platform due to the partnership of Laxman & Abhinav. When India lost wickets early in the morning by losing Rahul Dravid, India was at a very dicey situation. But when Abhinav Mukund came to bat with Laxman, situation came a bit under control. Ravi Rampaul was unable to bowl today due to his viral infection, India got a bit relaxation.

The West Indies team expected a lot from Rampaul, but his health made the team a bit tensed. He was supposed to attack the team at the mid-day, as the pitch gets stronger Rampaul’s attack against India was expected to get stronger. On the other hand, Edwards played a vital role with ball in his hand. He bowled with a god pace & tried to curve the ball, that batsman can face some problems to take good shots. Abhinav had to struggle a lot to hold his patience throughout his innings. Though Edwards tried to tousle him with short balls. He moved forward & backward & tapped the ball with slow shots & proved himself as a batsman having good temperament. At the other end, Laxman was playing with the ball & didn’t hit big till the 16^th delivery of the ball & also picked up pace once the spinner, Devendra Bishoo was introduced. At the end of their innings Abhinav scored 62 by playing 149 balls & Laxman scored 56 by playing 129 balls.
