Body Located During Search of Waters At Kejimkujik National Park

At 9:15 a.m. this morning, the RCMP Underwater Recovery team recovered a man’s body at Mills Falls at Kejimkujik National Park.

Early indication is the body is that of a male in his forties who had been reported as having possibly drowned at Mills Falls Sunday afternoon. The man’s name has not been released, pending positive identification by the next of kin.

Members of the RCMP Underwater Recovery team, 22 Ground Search and Rescue members from North Queens and Annapolis, along with Annapolis County District RCMP members assisted with the search and recovery.
