A 50-year-old Blacks Harbour man reported missing after failing to return home from a fishing trip has been found dead.

At approximately 10:30 p.m. on April 17, 2012, District 1 RCMP in St. George, N.B. received a report of a sport fisherman who failed to return home. Ralph Bradley Ramsey had left his home early in the morning to go fishing in the Bonny River area near St. George.

Police located the man’s truck. His body was found approximately 120 metres from the truck,  next to the canoe he was using for fishing.

No foul play is suspected.  An autopsy has been ordered.

The investigation continues.
