Akshay Kumar’s last release Mission Mangal has been his highest opener at the box office by making Rs. 27 crores on the very first day. The women-centric film is winning hearts all over the country and revolves around the first successful attempt of ISRO at launching a ship to Mars. Akshay Kumar has successfully become the actor whose pictures usually have an important social message. Films including Padman, Toilet – Ek Prem Katha, and Jolly LLB 2 being some of the few, Mission Mangal also addresses a lot of social issues.

During one of the promotional press conferences for Mission Mangal, Akshay was asked whether he fears getting typecast with the series of socially relevant films he has been making in the past. Vidya Balan was quick to answer that Housefull 4 will definitely be the one to typecast him because it has the best social message. To which, Akshay Kumar wittily replied that he will end up losing all the respect he has gained so far after Housefull 4 because it happens to be an out-and-out slapstick comedy!

He will also be seen in Laxxmi Bomb with Kiara Advani and has recently started shooting for the same.
